I come from the north of Sweden, in the beautiful landscape called Lappland.

The nature there has had a great impact and has served as an inspiration for my work.

Working with aluminium from wasted cans and the process of melting the material into sandmoulds allows me to explore new ideas

I wanted to make a human figure who was expressive and simple in form, in a modern recyclable material aluminum. The experience of the material I knew it would be a bit raw, with rough surface texture. As for the subject, I came to think of the ancient Etruscan figure “ombra della sera ”which has interested me for a long time. Long, narrow figures, with a little sadnes expression. I have also been inspired by Giacomettidesign language reminiscent of the Etruscans' long narrow

In 2019 I was invited to participate in a Chongquin International modern and contemporary art exhibition at the Hong museum.
After many delays due to the Corona pandemic, the exhibition in Chongquin and Kaifeng could be carried out. An exciting project and adventure for me as an artist
